Many students get tired in class because of what they eat.
One fact every student should know is that your brain needs healthy food to work its best. If you don’t eat the right foods, your brain can feel slow and unfocused.
From the podcast, I learned that natural and organic foods are good for your body and your brain. They give you energy to stay awake and keep your mind fresh. Food affects your focus in class. If you skip breakfast or only eat junk food, you might feel tired before lunch.
A good breakfast I like can include eggs, hash browns, and bacon, or other foods that give you protein and energy. Eggs help your brain stay strong and focused. Even a small snack, like fruit or nuts, can help keep your mind fresh during the day.
As students, we can take charge of our own success by making smart food choices every day.
One realistic step students can take is to stop skipping breakfast. Even something small is better than nothing. When you fuel your brain the right way, you give yourself a better chance to succeed in school.
This is how we can stay sharp in class and show other students how to lead by example.
